FAQ

  • In the simplest way, copywriting is word content designed to persuade the reader to take action. That action could be buying a product, clicking on a link, reading a blog — whatever you’d like your clients/customers to do after they finish reading your piece of copy.

  • On the most basic level, a copywriter writes the word content and presents the reader with the call to action (CTA).

    As your copywriter, I:

    • Take time to get to know you, your business, your values, your goals, and your why. Then I infuse all that into your copy so you and your client or customers resonate with it. Giving you marketing that makes you feel good.

    • Conduct market research. Which includes research on your ideal client, your market competition, your industry in general, etc. Then I use this data to inform my writing so it speaks directly to your clients.

    • Stay up to date on copywriting techniques and industry trends, so you get the best and most relevant messaging.

    • Make sure your copy is high-quality, SEO-optimized where applicable, and has your voice shining through.

    • Give you tailored recommendations unique to your business’s needs. Because your business is unique, my services should reflect that!

    • Use easy formatting, and can input your copy onto your website. So everything is as smooth and easy as possible for you.

My main goals are for your clients/customers to immediately feel that warm, genuine connection to you and your business, and to take some marketing off your plate so you get to enjoy your time, energy, and life a little bit more!

  • My primary service area is the Denver Metro area, but I love helping local businesses flourish and thrive. When local businesses thrive, so do their communities, making them more unique and vibrant!

So please don’t hesitate to reach out if you’re looking for values-aligned marketing. I want all of us to succeed together.

  • Fantastic question! Here’s a quick step-by-step:

    1. You book a free 15 to 60-minute consult call with me.

    2. During our call, I ask a few questions to get to know you, your business, your customers, and your needs.

    3. After the call, I send you a customized proposal including all of your tailored recommendations, along with a contract and invoice. We’ll start off with one recommendation as a test project, to ensure we work well together.

    4. Once you sign the contract and send it back, along with the 50% deposit. If you find something in the proposal isn’t quite what you want, no worries. Please email me and we can talk a little more to make it what you’re looking for.

    5. On receipt of your signed contract and the 50% payment, I start writing!

    6. I send you the completed copy by the agreed deadline. You look it over and send me any edits you’d like me to make. You have up to two rounds of edits. When all edits are complete, I notify you and then the rest of the payment is due.

    7. After receiving final payment, I send you the finalized piece of copy and you can upload it or send it out. If you like, I can also upload it for you.

    8. If we agree to continue on with more of your tailored recommendations, we repeat the process!

    9. A little while after the completed project, I check back in with you to see how the piece of copy is doing and to see the analytics.

  • Since I tailor my recommended services to your needs, it depends. But I like to be transparent about my pricing, so you can click here to head over to my Services page to take a look.

  • Things I know:

    1. This economy is rough. Egg prices are borderline out of control.

    2. Being a small business owner and a one-woman show is super overwhelming most of the time.

    3. Finances can be difficult to discuss with a stranger.

    4. I want you to be as comfortable as possible throughout this process.

With all that in mind, I love helping local businesses and want to be as helpful as I can.

During your free 15 to 60-minute consult call, we discuss your budget and expectations.

I never want to break the bank, so if you see some pricing that you’re not sure about, we can always discuss it.

That way, we’re both on the same page and everything’s affordable.

The proposal I send you will include all my recommendations for now and the future, but please remember that they are just recommendations. You know your business best, so take what you like and leave the rest. If you have any questions as to why I recommended something, please feel free to ask!
